Important Notes on Trading Hours
Application of Daylight Saving Time by Region
The application of daylight saving time varies depending on the market to which the instrument belongs (U.S. or Europe). Below is an example based on the representative instruments offered by DecodeFX.
| Region (DST Period) | Applicable Product Category | Representative Instruments |
|---|---|---|
| United States (From 2nd Sunday in March – 1st Sunday in November) |
US Stock Index CFDs | NAS100, SPX500, DOWJ30 |
| US Energy CFDs | USOIL | |
| FX Currency Pairs | USDJPY, EURUSD, GBPUSD, etc. | |
| Europe (From Last Sunday in March – Last Sunday in October) |
European Stock Index CFDs | DAX40, EUSTX50, FTSE100 |
| EUR-based FX Currency Pairs | EURGBP, EURCHF, EURNOK, EURSEK, etc. |
As shown above, the basis for applying daylight saving time differs by region. During March, October, and November, there may be a one-week discrepancy between U.S. and European daylight saving time transitions. Please be aware that trading hours might shift temporarily during this period.
